A new year is around the corner. a new mpvisions-photography enters nothing but digital and film takes a long rest. new model and automatically hired to be a strong muse to mpv is laura d. she was an absolute delight and treat to collaborate with and build a portfolio on both sides. the trip to brattleborough vt was worth the long long over do wait.

its been an interesting turn of events. shoots lined up and an large amount too much highway driving. exhuasted but i am an artist. i will drive until i see no other reason to. muse isabel vinson is beyond the top ranked for mpvisions. shes been with me since 2003. end of story.

The Tour

07-25-10 i take on a new path. mpvisions-photography becomes digital after 12 years of tradional film. a line up of the original crew returns. jenny lynn, nikki kay, justine, isabel vinson, and jennifer edwards. the tour has begun and tues on july 27 i take off to springfield ma. then nyc. londondary nh. is next after that, chelmsford ma. with a sketch of an official mpvisions website in the distance, a due date is in question for 09-08-10. furthermore i am more than ready to bring in 2011 early with very solid foundation.

7-10-10 Rebecca before 6am

it was a late night awaiting the lovely rebecca l. friday night for a very early saturday sunrise shoot at west island in ma. after a shoot with photographer david gold, a good man and friend rebecca headed my way to get some rest and then sat. arrived. the shoot consist of very elegant poses with soft indications of sensual erotic behaviors at times. furthermore rebecca proceeded to give it her all professionally and beautifully. a beautiful woman and a favorite to later down the road to work with again. this was my second time with this accomplished confident model and as u can see from the image posted here there is a very powerful outlook. the light was exceptional and this time done with nothing more, nothing less than with a coolpix camera. yep digital i transformed a bit and put film down for this one. next time though it is going to be all film with rebecca and if i can model vassanta will also join. both women outstanding and wondeful to work with.

Speak 2010 by MPVISIONS-PHOTOGRAPHY

since the shoot with london andrews the work has been pushed far back in being complete to go live on this blog let alone on modelmayhem which is on its way to becoming a tribute page. as august approaches i am finding things to be quite out of control with my creative drive to give mpvisions a long and perhaps a perminate break. its hard to shut a door that has taken a very long time to construct with such support and followers, admirers, and now collectors who want to purchase my work. only one collector for now in the photography field but who knows what lies ahead with the images i have created with the strong and beautiful.

my friend ryan borella, aritist himself is in the process of creating an official mpvisions-photography website and a shop where u will be able to purchase the work online and have it shipped to u signed by me. the site is set to go live by september 8th on my 31st birthday but time will only really tell. there is still much work to be done in building this site and how it will satisfy my tastes to feel it was worth it and to be remembered. 12 years in with mpvisions and accassional side projects have evolved such as; captured which hints similarities of mpvisions trade mark, as well as some of the parts modeling images. the only side that truely drove away slightly was the mpv erotica series. a bold and new area for me that is leading to a powerful determination to complete it with models isabel vinson and wara end of july 2010.

the painting studio is not completely empty, there only remains one large 60x72 canvas with titles ringing in my head such as; World of Letdown, BlowJob, Speak, and finally My Last Photograph. then again who really knows. the fact that the fucking canvas screams at me when i am down there makes me go alittle crazy. good thing for now yes? yes.

so the line up for this month and august remains as this, models rebecca, isabel vinson, wara, leira waitt, melissa brown, the return of nikki kay! and model sarah aka whiskey aka kenley. next weekend rebecca and i hit the beach at sunrise for a smashing digital nude series that perhaps will give rebecca her own long series building up to new focus point for me. there has been ideas to create a new chapter in photogrpahying the nude and other things with digital. i have come up with mp-photographs so far, captured im still not set on from the earlier work with marissa. as i said it spoke to much of mpvisions quality.

for the models that have come and gone such as jennifer edwards, jenny lynn vignault, ariel, jeanna, fawn, kelly, marietta, paula, meggstats, misha, kate, amy rae, jessica, and the many others that collided with me i am ever so greatfull to have been able to photograph such amazing work with u all. mpvisions began in 1998 freshman year @ the art institute of boston @ lesley college with fawn, now it will close with sarah hopefully in august 2010.

on may 23rd i spent my time with model vassanta in brooklyn ny @ model rebecca's apt. previous to this session i had the pleasure to work with the lovely and bold sexy london andrews. these images are still in production along with model maureen pel, lily d. from model mayhem. this afternoon i had a first time photography session with brand new model in my eyes carlina. a woman who clearly exhibits defined curves and a powerful sex appeal. it was an absolute delight to work with her and her support towards this side project untitled at this time was appreciated. mpvisions work is still blooming til the end of this fall. stay tuned. mp.

Upcoming: London Andrews, Captured, Erotica, Digital

monday april 5, 2010 and much thought is going into the long awaited finally booked and confirmed shoot with model london andrews. it has been some time since i have written words instead of uploading images with brief descriptions. this also includes the support from models as well with their qoutes in the descriptions. my work continues to evolve and with boundless power from each new and returning model involved with mpvisions-photography. it seems clear that late 2009 i entered an area of erotic work changing the fine art to a more up close expressive manner, and abstract. i am quite pleased with the work as it is making me smile more than i did in 1998. early 2000-2001 i change things moving in a direction that involved natural light. to this date it is still a strong tool and has made for very satisfying results for both the model and i.

captured is now a side project. earlier words were expressed about the long over due break of mpvisions-photography but it is curtain that it will continue with a series of mini projects. captured being one of the first focusses on the candid and very expressive side. the project does involve nude woman but fact remains the difference is the models, peers, and friends are bringing a higher volume of genuine fun with being nude and flirty with their poses. still it is a project that involves mpvision's muse meggstats and artist, friend marissa. marissa a first time model to being nude exploded with strong and tigger like poses. showing off her fun side of being care free nude and sexy. meggstats revealed a fun side that expressed a loud silly side, genuine and of course memorable.

i have also pushed mpvisions towards a mixture of moods with capturing erotic photographs. models isabel vinson, wara, vassanta, marissa vera lynn, meggstats have so far have proven this series to be an epic accomplishment for me. these women boundless and full of power have exhibited their most intimate side comfortably, knowingly being photographed. it has become a series so powerful that i am eager to present it in a exhibit this winter 2010. the date is tba. more to be said on this in a later blog.

mpvisions-photography will continue on until i say so, captured is it's side project. so when it does premiere in a private exhibit it will read mpvisions presents: captured. as for the long awaited london andrews, she has been an interest of mine for quite some time. a boundless woman who has various sites and work from the traditional fine art nude, glamour, sensual, to sites that exhibit adult content. with the few recent emails i am determined to create a very interesting series of work with her. from traditional fine art nude to sensual nude, to the final area of genuine fun expressive side of london. i would be lying if i said this sounds like i am pulling into the captured series. i just confirmed that. yep i did. to close as i said i admire london for the work she has done. it is real, powerful, beauty, confident, sex, genuine, and april 14th is the session after i get out of work. the premiere follows 2 weeks after. a teaser however arrives that very evening here on the blog.

words from new model wara. i had the pleasure to work with her on 02-27-10. the work done was sensual erotic. it is the first time i am finding myself pushing the boundries to a point to say there are no boundries. boundless and the model wara exhibited a high intense volume of seductive, powerful, real, and as i said an area of boundless accomplishment in erotic work. never would i have seen myself in this area at all when i first pick up the camera in 1998. now in 2010 i am rounding up as many intense and meaningful, real moods in the female form. pushing myself to angle each shot so it reveals depth and having natural light expose the correct areas to make for a successful mind blowing result. wara was an exceptional model to work with and took the theme/work she was hired for professionally. her stature fit the area of work i needed to work with and again what results. the collaboration continues on easter sunday this april and it will put closure on this particular area for us. wara will continue to stay with mpvisions-photography until july 2010. she will be a part of the city nudes scheduled to take off first sunday and every sunday of july. it has been a complete honor to have her involved in my work and i would recommend her to any photographer who has a strong creative idea in mind. the following images above are just a few of the many shots that now stand as very epic body of erotic work in mpvisions-photography to this date.

Captured is a new area of work for me. it does involve nudity with the female form however there is an interesting depth and feeling that is revealed. as u can see it is alot more fun, genuine, candid in some ways with additional editing to increase the light and contrast. models meggstats also artist, artist marissa are the first 2 women involved. at this point i am still deciding whether to add on a 3rd model but do to the high success with these 2 women i may just keep it as 2 for now. meggstats has been with mpvisions-photography for some time now and i still consider brand new. she entered the mpv mid 2009 and i feel captured will be her landmark in my new work. marissa an exceptional painter/artist is also brand new and it was her first time posing nude for this creative collaborative project. as it stand now it will be a perminate area i will stay in. her efforts to exhibit such creative poses and naturally set made for an amazing reseult. though meggstats is more on a loud expressive side, marissa presented softer feel to captured. i look forward to working on these photographs and later this spring and summer continuing with it. my appreciation to them both goes out to them strongly.

Digital with Rebecca 02-08-10

the following images are from this afternoon with model rebecca. it was my first time working with her and she was an absolute delight to work with. an elegant body and the light was soft leading to a very high sucess today seeing her pose each shot. it was very close to be being canceled but i was fortunate to have an opportunity to make it possible this afternoon. the location of the shoot took place in new bedford ma @ my personal old home where i was once residence to and the rope works studios in the south end of new bedford. artist stephen denton allowed both rebecca and i to shoot in his studio to create very tastefully done b/w artistic nudes. the images above exhibit just a few of many that will follow. it was also my first time working with a digital camera. not exactly an area i am use to, but surprizingly intriqued by the results. having the time spent at both locations today with model rebecca was special. i appreciate her strong support and patience and wish her the absolute best in her future works with other photographers. a professional model, beautiful, sexy, and treats each shoot with determintation to get high results.

with the emails, phone calls, being laid off from work, i am managing to breathe just enough to begin creating the next chapter after mpvisions-photography takes a long awaited over due break. 12 years and with the book now in my direct site i am collaborating with some of my friend artists on what could possibly lead to the next area of work i want to stay in. running mpvisions-photography for 12 years has been more than a trip for me and i want to give it an honorable closing. the book will simply do just that and i am making sure to take the right steps. i am already quite pleased how i am reinventing myself and with tough times sitting side by side with me i am making sure i dont slip too far under like i always have. artists love to beat themselves and play around in the void. our split personalities also love to fuck around making us obiviously feel like were ugly all over inside and out, making masterbation seem like a fucking chore to break the air. how exciting is that. what was the phrase in the movie WAITING.... by using ur own tears to masterbate u can feel some kind of a hint of clarity in ur pathetic existance. ouchy.

furthermore on the edge of my chair writing the best to which i stand myself, i am fucking restless, booking very specific shoots for july and some newer side projects. one in particular that falls on feb 6th and then another on the 26th of feb 2010 this year. im curious to see how they play out and it does involve photography. but not what u think perhaps already. there seems to be new twist involved, a reinvention, a new mattthew pearl. i'd love to go on and on about details about the projects i have instore but i'd rather tease u with just two recent and new photographs i worked on with a very good artist and friend. the images are soft, bright and there is depth. i like the feeling i have gotten so far and just today i worked on more with mpvisions model, meggstats. i plan on taking her along with me on this new path and what was photographed today, well it leaves me patience for once. when i get them on CD and on here i believe u will want more of what i am working on. im finally doing ART! a new form of it at least for me. it pleases me and i feel proud of what will evolve. i know for a fact my wife will be part of this work as well. she is what keeps me going, she plays a big role for the simple facts of believing in what i do and that it isn't just for the fame. i am a fucking artist and thats that, just try and stop what i do next. i know i cant i have tried, trust me.

i met isabel vinson @ cfnap studios in lawrence ma in 2002. it was our first shoot and to this day it has not been our last. if i could describe her i would say she is bitch, beautiful, boundless, strong hearted, a tease, determined further than my words can express in creating art in the female body. she considers herself quite a big deal and she means it. 12 years going and i haven't met another woman like her. it does make me wonder sometimes though. probably a good thing i only wonder alittle. two isabels could do alot of damage. the kind of damage u would want more of though. she is one woman that impacts ur life in such manners that show u sides of what u probably lack or hide. in each shoot isabel has pushed herself further and it shows strongly on her part, you half to admire it. working with her has been quite a ride of excellence and i look forward to what lies ahead for us. we are a team, she is my muse, my dear friend and it is simply that. here are a few of the beautiful and boundless images of miss. isabel vinson.

a headache from the beginning and as this night approaches the headache remains at the same level. i spent my day beginning, working on the next chapter that will follow after mpvisions-photography decends peacefully with honor. i recieved an email about the possibilities of one helping hand to pubish my first book. the answer was no and sorry. it sucks but i am not stopping there. there is much work to be done. perhaps i am loading up too much, then again i am sure it is just what i need to keep my stress at a level i can somewhat control. eitherway i am pleased with myself and how work is forming during this time. mpvisions-photography has projects beginning this april and then in july but only with particular individuals i have selected. the book is my main area and so far i am whiped out. at least for today i am whiped out. that sounds better.

there will be a new name for my next area of work. there are words floating around but they are still blurry as of now. as the work developes further i will know for sure what fits comfortably and says exactly what i aimed for in the beginning of it all. if i could say one thing about the work so far it would be that it stands far out from what i have been doing. at this very minute i am excited but i do not want to over do it just yet.

next week i plan to continue on with the project working along side with artist meggstats, also model for mpvisons-photography. i was able to get the opportunity to work in a studio for the upcoming work to continue. i am beginning to see that the next mpvisions-photography shoot with rebecca will also steer in this direction. this excites me in manner of determination to follow through with it. rebecca is a new model that i will be collaborating with feb 6th 2010. she is the first model that is new for 2010 to complete mpvisions-photography, but also to be involved in the beginning of what will be the next chapter for me. i am quite pleased.

i guess there is nothing more i have to say. i dont feel like leaking too much of will take place in detail. i do however want to keep those who are bit curious at the edge of there seats in life that have been so supporting towards my work and of cousre the 12 year run mpvisions-photography has been.

At the computer with nine inch nails: ghosts

i can honestly say that i am bored right now at this computer. its never enough and with being out of the real day job of work for some time now i am going nuts. with work and pay, it makes for the art to become a reality. i have been mainly editing previous work from 2009 and some from 2007 for this blog spot. the most recent opportunities have been a freelance job just outside of boston in allston ma, photographying the band amputee escape artist at the new wave, and working with my muse meggstats. its a weird mixed of emotion at this time and i hate when i am like this. with understanding it is also good for me at times to be in this state of mind it sometimes does not play well with others around me. come to think of it, this brings me to places in my head where i use to go to at age 19 only on a whole new level of dark twistedness. i guess i'll dance with it for a little bit more.

so whats next on the list... i know that more editing is in store for these next days to approach. that and my sister lauren is visting this weekend and we are colloborating as a favor to her, actually now that i just got off the phone with her we are not working together this weekend. we now have set a date for the 29 of this month and until then tomorrow i head to malden ma. to work with my friend marissa on a new photography project. a body of work that is seperate from mpvisions-photography's mark already. im looking forward to it. i need a new chapter to replace mpvisions-photography when the book is published this year. so i guess slowly i am collecting a small group to collaborate with because this time it is not just going to be my vision. it will be a team effort more so than what it was before. how i do love change and how i am nonstop. there is really never knowing what i will do next but i promise it will be something u wont want to walk away from too fast.

ive got nine inch nails playing on this very old computer and i am adrift and at peace for the moment. no one is here and it is just me typing. i just got a text that dinner is ready just down the street. i live just five minutes up the street from where i am at this computer. short distance but at times i like to take the long way home. not a bad thing just that now my head likes the soft sounds of a piano by nine inch nails on a rainy night driving alone. this is what i needed... i needed a day and evening where everything made sense to write and i was in the right state of mind to do so. i can never count on the weather down here. i think i will turn off the tv that i had on at a low volume. time to go home.
